Matt is the principal partner of Fogarty Partners, and has been providing accounting, taxation, superannuation and business advisory services to a diverse range of clients for over 25 years.

Matt sits on a number of client advisory boards and specialises in management accounting and performance reporting, and provides ongoing services to growing enterprises.

Matt has direct, tangible experience in providing advice and services to an array of clients – including start-up businesses and private Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF).

Matt graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Accounting). A Chartered Tax Advisor of the Tax Institute, Registered Tax Agent, SMSF Specialist Advisor and Registered SMSF Auditor, and Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

John has over 20 years of professional experience in accounting, tax, and business services. He has worked for various accounting practices, including spending 10 years at Big Four firms.

John has provided accounting, taxation and other services to high wealth individuals, and owners and managers of small private enterprises right through to large public companies. He has knowledge of the various structures including trusts, companies, partnerships and superannuation funds.

John specialises in financial statements, tax compliance and planning (including income tax, capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax and salary packaging), growth restructuring and consulting, hands-on, day-to day business advice, overview of client corporate secretarial compliance, budget and cash flow forecasting, and estate planning and asset protection.

John graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Accounting), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia. John is a Chartered Tax Adviser of the Tax Institute, and a Member of the Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to establishing Fogarty Partners, Dan was a Tax Partner at Ernst & Young. He has over 25 years’ experience in public practice, including as CEO/MD of an Australian listed public company.

Dan specialises in providing strategic business and corporate taxation advice. He has advised a diverse range of companies from small start-up companies through to large multinationals.

Dan graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Accounting and Finance). Dan is a Chartered Tax Advisor of the Tax Institute, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member of the Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand.

Peter has over 20 years experience in the accounting industry and has worked for a number of public practice firms both here in Western Australian and in Victoria.  He also spent 6 years working at State Revenue Office Victoria in their finance and audit areas, prior to joining public practice.

Peter assists a wide variety of clients across a range of industries in dealing with their accounting and taxation requirements.

Peter graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting & Economics.  He is also a member of CPA Australia.
